US Patent No. 12,064,506 B2 (Carine Blanchard, Sebastien Holvoet);  Societe des Produits Nestle S.A., Vevey, Switzerland, has patented a method for treating transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and enhancing skin barrier function or skin hydration with a milk whey partial protein hydrolysate.
